Multi-Dwelling Units   Proliphix Internet-enabled Network Thermostats have been installed in typical multi-tenant applications such as apartment buildings and condominium complexes.  The Proliphix Internet Thermostat is ideal for a single building or campus environments. Provided that all of the buildings are connected with each other in a LAN environment, thermostats from all tenants can be connected on the same network and controlled at one facility room. Temperature schedules can be developed for each tenant customized to that tenant, dependent for example, upon whether the unit is geographically north or south facing in the facility or determined by other needs of the tenant based on their business or comfort requirements. With custom software, energy consumption from each tenant can be aggregated together to determine HVAC system and building efficiencies. To further save unnecessary expense, facility managers can remotely lockout control at each thermostat by disabling the thermostat buttons from tenant interaction to safeguard against inefficient temperature overrides.  If set point control is required, it can be limited above and below the scheduled set point temperature.   Additionally, the Proliphix Internet Thermostats have been designed with durable ABS plastic to withstand the harsh environments of rental or leased properties.
