BASIC SERIES                                                   NETWORK THERMOSTATS The Proliphix Network Thermostats are the most sophisticated yet easiest to use, programmable thermostats available today. The unmatched sophistication allows the customer to maximize comfort while minimizing energy consumption. The Proliphix Network Thermostats stand apart from all other programmable communicating thermostats primarily because of the easy-to-use web browser interface. This configuration tool makes it a snap to check the temperature and alarm conditions of any thermostat or to program temperature setbacks for holidays and vacation schedules. The Proliphix Basic Series Network Thermostats include both NT10e and NT20e models.  These thermostats are well suited for vacation home owners or landlords who wish to remotely manage their HVAC systems from anywhere in the world. The NT20e is identical to our NT10e product with the added capability to monitor two remotely wired thermal sensors.  Examples for remote thermal sensing could include zone thermal averaging or outdoor air temperature reporting.   Device Interface The Basic Series Thermostat LCD Device Interface includes both a graphical LCD screen and a group of five handsome buttons which together provide legible status and conventional control of the thermostat. The information is displayed on the LCD with easy-to-access menus on either of two Primary screens. Thermostat Management Interface The Thermostat Management Interface (TMI) can be accessed on a local network from any computer which has installed an approved Proliphix web browser. Proliphix supports the following web browsers:    • Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher on Windows XP, XP Professional     • Mozilla Firefox 1.0 on either Windows XP, XP Professional Network Connectivity The Basic Series Thermostats can be easily connected to your existing home network by wiring through a Proliphix Ethernet Power Adapter (EPA) punch-down block. The EPA-20 or EPA-60 provides power to each thermostat as well as interconnectivity to the local network switch or router. NT20e Sensor Settings Unlike the NT10e, The NT20e was designed for customers who wish to monitor temperatures at the thermostat from points located away from the thermostat.  Up to two thermal sensors  can be wired back to the thermostat from a maximum distance of 500ft.  Sensor averaging and temperature correction are amongst the control available for each sensor on the Sensor Settings TMI page.
