ABOUT US Founded in 2004, Proliphix develops and manufactures inexpensive Internet-enabled monitoring and control products for use in the residential and light commercial industries.  Proliphix’s first product line of Internet-Enabled Thermostats satisfies the demand for low cost energy management required by multi-tenant property or corporate facilities managers, hospitality administrators, retail franchise owners, as well as electric utility energy curtailment initiatives. The company founders have extensive experience with local and wide area networking and Internet Protocol (IP) technologies, and have a proven track record for successfully developing products to meet the needs of emerging markets.  They have been responsible for developing and bringing to market, highly reliable products at industry respected data communication and telecommunication companies. Company President, Walter Dray, brings more than 25 years of experience in the data communication and telecommunication industries.  Mr. Dray previously co-founded Omnia Communications Corp, a manufacturer of optical telecommunications equipment, and was a founding engineer at Cascade Communications Corp, a manufacturer of wide area networking (WAN) telecommunications equipment. Realizing the Proliphix vision has resulted in the development of intelligent climate control products which eliminate the complexities of network installation, connectivity, maintenance and control.  Proliphix now makes the only stand-alone Internet Protocol (IP) controllable thermostats on the market today.  The thermostats employ an embedded web server which serves up a graphical interface (GUI) accessible by most of today’s Web browsers.  Users do not require an onsite computer, only broadband Internet access, to manage property climate control functions from a computer anywhere in the world.  Proliphix products are available through retail distribution, system integrators and select dealers.  Proliphix is a privately-held company headquartered in Westford, Mass.
